Where did my newborn go?

Ian is advancing way too quickly. He is such a sweetie and still likes to snuggle, so we are okay. He had his 8wk. appointment and is now 22 1/2 inches long and now over 12 1/2 lbs. Matthew is enjoying him even more now that Stephen is in school.

Bubble Beards

I knew time was flying by and my little boys were growing older, but I didn't realize how fast. Stephen and Matthew love bubbles and had filled their outside wading pool full and dipped their faces in to create this one of a kind look.

Special Visitors

Grandpa & Grandma Coston came for a visit and brought cousin Marky with them. We had such a great time playing water balloon baseball, making Ian smile, putting Dad to work, and swimming at the "Y". Mom and Dad helped so much in our current crazy life. All of us were so excited they could come down for the weekend!

Stephen's First Day of Kindergarten

Stephen was so excited to go to school. He is doing great! When I asked him what his favorite part of school was, he answered "recess". He loved his teacher, Mrs. Candler, right away. She won his heart with her fire bulletin board and her sweetness. What a blessing to have him come home from school enthusiastically quoting Bible verses and telling the creation story. He is doing very well in math and is really excited about science. He loves mazes and is even enjoying coloring. In two weeks he will be starting Spanish! Dave has really wanted our whole family to learn Spanish, so we will all learn what Stephen will be learning.

Uncle Micah and Aunt Katie stop in for a quick visit. On the way home from church, Stephen picked out a nice home for them to live in, so they could come over all the time. All our boys just love them. They were such a big help to me too!

The Lost Teeth

Stephen's big day-- He lost two teeth in one day. We were trying to get him to put them under his pillow, but I think his idea of the tooth fairy was more like a tooth monster. He said he was going to bury his teeth in the sand box so the tooth fairy couldn't find them.

Baby Ian Is Here!!!

Ian Michael was born just after 1 am. He is a whopping 9lbs 8oz and 21 1/2in long. Mommy and baby are doing very well. I hope everyone likes this picture better than the other one.

Matthew and Stephen love having a brother. They have been very helpful already.

Matthew and his mower. After the first mowing job of the season, we knew one mower for 2 boys wasn't going to work very well. Grandpa and Grandma Coston had the perfect present- a sturdy popping mower just for Matthew! It was love at first sight. He immediately mowed the backyard 2 times. Dave wishes it really worked. : )

Stephen and his new tool set. A hardy toolbox filled with great tools was a big hit for Stephen. He has been working on every project imaginable. We are in the middle of a kitchen project, so his enthusiasm to work has been highly motivating.

Since Matthew's birthday is in April and Stephen's
is in May, we decided a combo would be the most practical. The boys didn't mind a bit. This is the first of the birthday season for these boys, but was so special to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma Coston!

New Little Guy In the Oven

July 11, God willing, our new little guy will be here. We are all so very excited to have our 3rd boy! We were hoping to wait till I was 12wks. along to share the news, but by 8 wks the secret was out based on my expectant appearance. Thankfully, this pregnancy has gone quite well. God has been reassuring Dave and I along the way to continue to trust Him and rest in His plan. Little Kale is kicking happily tonight and we are so very grateful! Here is a picture of me today at 21 1/2 wks. I look a little closer to delivery, but Kale's healthy and that's the most important priority. I am getting a little antsy to work out and shed the many pounds that are accumulating. Hopefully, it will be a few less than I had to with Matthew. The Big City

The Lord has moved us from cozy little Terre Haute to Indianapolis. We are amazed and excited for all that is fun to do. For this country girl, it was quite overwhelming at first, but we are adjusting well. The kids are pretty adventurous and love new places. Some of our favorite spots have been walking the canal, watching the helicopters take off, viewing all the construction sites and of course seeing how many fire stations we can see in one day. As much as we miss all our "old friends" and "old stations", as Stephen calls them, we are enjoying this new adventure the Lord has given to us.
